I was born and raised in Minnesota, the majority of my life I have lived in
the Buffalo community. I have been married for 12 years and have 3
beautiful girls.

Growing up I always enjoyed art. In high school I took as many art
courses as I could. After graduating I completed a Commercial Art
program and began working at a sign shop and advertising company,
designing real estate signs and vehicle graphics. When our oldest child
was born, we decided I would stay home and focus on raising our family.
While that has been wonderful, my kids no longer require as much of my
attention as they did, therefore it is time for me to start a new chapter of
my life.

When I was presented the idea of MnemeTherapy, I was hesitant. When
I told my mom & stepfather about it, their words were “You can’t NOT do
it, it’s perfect for you.” With my immediate family and their support and
encouragement I decided to put fear aside and jump in.

A huge motivation for my becoming a MnemeTherapist is be my beautiful
grandmother who lost her battle with Parkinson’s disease just over 2
years ago. I watched her struggle to control her body and her mind.
Fortunately, I was able to spend a lot of time with her in her last year on
earth and enjoyed being at her care facility. I truly wish she would have
had this therapy available to her,
she would have loved it!

If I can help to improve the quality of life to my clients, I will be happy and
proud of the work I am doing. I look forward to this exciting opportunity
God has given me!
