Lisa Blaskay, Master MnemeTherapist After the death of my father in July of 1999, my life took a dramatic change. This loss was almost too much to bear and I found myself sinking into a deep depression. At that time, I had been in business for 7 years, and in an instant, in late October of 1999, my life was changed forever! The Lord had other plans for me. My life, as I had known it, would be no longer. I was to be an Artist. I had never painted before, I didn’t know how to mix paints, yet I knew without a doubt, that God had a plan and this was to be my new profession. It has been almost 9 years since that day, and it has truly been a blessing to see where the Lord has taken me and what He’s taught me. I cannot claim to have any special talents, because they all have come from Him. My life is like a canvas and He is the Painter! Once again, the Lord has taken what He has given me and is writing a new chapter in my life with Art Without Boundaries. To work and help others, to bring joy and validation to one’s life who has been robbed of it through a horrible condition...and then to be the one to bring art, storytelling and singing into the mix...this is truly an opportunity that only God could have orchestrated for me. I am honored to be used in this way! I know that all I need to learn and to give, He will give to me abundantly. And I thank you Noell, for providing the vision and the training, and for the role that you’ll play in my life. This is truly a gift!” |
