Angie Everett- Cincinnati, OH

I was born in Southeastern Kentucky, and spent my childhood crisscrossing the
Ohio River between my birthplace and my current hometown of Cincinnati. My love
for art lead me to train at the Columbus College of Art and Design.

I am the oldest of three children and quite protective of my youngest brother who
was diagnosed with just about everything, including PDD and mild autism.

My husband and I have 4 beautiful children. The challenges of motherhood have
taken me on the most amazing, humbling, joyful adventure. My kids motivate me to
love greater and give more than I could have ever done on my own.  Another
motivation is watching both my autistic niece work so hard to communicate a few
words, and my grandmother lose her memory, her awareness, and her ability to
function due to dementia. Those experiences have changed me profoundly,
deepening my passion to appreciate and celebrate every person as precious and
uniquely created and gifted by God.

Focusing on the needs of my children has put my artistic aspirations on hold for
many years, but my dream to be an artist helping others through my craft was never
extinguished.  I’m ready to ignite the spark of creativity again and return to my
passion for art.  I believe discovering Art Without Boundaries has given me the
opportunity to fulfill a purpose God designed me for.  Never could I have imagined
how my art and life experiences would culminate to prepare me so suitably for the
mission of AWBF and MnemeTherapy, but now those pieces are fitted together and
it is with great anticipation I begin the journey of being a Master MnemeTherapist

Seeing the sights of Cincinnati...

During Certification Week, apprentices take some time to show me around their hometown. Knowing this Florida girl was
in need of some green therapy, Angie took me to the Krohn Conservatory and also introduced me to Skyline Chili and the
most fabulous ice cream ever, Graeter's.

Graduation Day!

Angie gets some help blowing out the
candles on her graduation cake.

Her four children made graduation
cards and hubby, Scott made a special
flourless cake and bought her roses.
